Weekly Report October 29, 2022

Our second week inside and again more Neighbors!!  Actually, we lost count of the food bags that we gave out.  We know for sure that it was more than 55.  Nice work food distribution team!!  Your awareness of the increased need and quick filling of additional bags meant no hungry Neighbor had to wait.  Sadly, we ran out of burritos.  Thanks to Edmonds food bank!! 😊  They had included burritos in their food gifts to us.  Sharon microwaved these so that she could provide every Neighbor with a hot breakfast.

It was the 5th Saturday of the month.  Thank you to the breakfast team from Trinity for coming to make burritos   This same team will be back next Saturday to serve on their normal first Saturday of the month.  We are truly grateful to Cathy and Tony for their frequent service.

Prayer requests:  Kevin asks us to continue to pray with him for a new apartment.  He will need to move in November.  He also asks for prayers for the safety of his children and grandchildren and a financial windfall.

Michael is still looking for an affordable car.  Please let us know if you know of anything.  (his commute is short.  He is sure that an older, high-mileage car would be perfect)

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!  If you have a couple of hours on Saturday morning, we need your help.  Mark, Sue, and Tom are doing an especially thorough job of updating our resource information.  However, they do need help at the listening tables.  If you have a couple of hours on one or more Saturdays per month, please let me know.  You can be of great value to our Neighbors.

As our numbers grow, we need additional help with setup and breakdown.  Please also consider this.
