Neighbors in Need (NIN) – seeks to understand and address the issues of poverty in our neighborhood.
We are intentional about walking with our neighbors in need through caring relationships that inspire hope.
We couldn't do this without the caring support and effort from our volunteers, and your donations.
We Facilitate Safe Learning Spaces
Neighbors in Need Saturday morning is staffed completely by individual volunteers and groups who report receiving deep satisfaction from participation and who value the sense of community they enjoy with guests and other volunteers. Interested in opportunities to volunteer?
- Preparing and serving meals
- Packing and distributed bags of groceries
- Sorting and handing out clothing
- Onsite set-up and clean-up
- Conversing with our Neighbors

If your schedule is full on Saturday Mornings, there are other ways to assist NIN.
We accept monetary donations, non perishable food items, and seasonal clothing at NIN every Saturday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m at Trinity Lutheran Church 6215 196th St. SW, Lynnwood, WA 98036 or during Trinity’s office hours Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or by appointment by calling 425-778-2159.
