It was a privilege to end the year in service and companionship with each other and with our Neighbors.
We were able to give groceries, salads, and sandwiches to 30 Neighbors and one family. Just as important….. we provided space for our Neighbors to be at tables together to visit over coffee or hot chocolate. Special thanks to Pastor Hector for spending his morning with us and giving so much attention to our Neighbors.
We have a new partner! Our local Half Price Books donated a large box of books. The wide variety of subjects and authors assure that there is a good choice for everyone. Thank you, Chuck, for developing that relationship.
We welcomed old friends back to Neighbors in Need. A team from Lynnwood Unity Church was our burrito brigade this morning. It was truly good to have you back with us. Thank you for the delicious burritos and hot chocolate. (Our Neighbors are a creative bunch. They used hot chocolate to make mochas) Also, thank you to your team members for helping bag groceries, serving the burritos, and for stepping in everywhere that you saw a need. Please come back often.
We wish you a happy, healthy, and inspiring new year.
Joan
