Weekly Report September 16, 2023

And another busy day………..    Our pantry team gave out 55 grocery bags and 4 family boxes.  The need continues to grow.

So many thanks to our team from Holy Rosary Catholic Church for preparing burritos this morning.  You were in and out so quickly that we didn’t even get to say good-bye.  We handed out every burrito.  Our Neighbors were grateful  for the hot breakfast. Clothing Needed:  Our clothes closet is in need of shoes, both men’s and women’s in all sizes.  Do you have any that you are not wearing? Also needed:  We need men’s jeans in small sizes / sizes 30, 32, 34, or 36.  We would be grate  for any that you no longer wear. Holiday Giving:   As your congregations and service groups plan your holiday giving, we hope that you will consider including Neighbors in Need.  In these days of higher costs and increasing numbers of those who need help, NiN will be reaching out to ask for generosity.  We hope that you will consider such things as peanut butter or tuna drives, or maybe underwear or blanket drives?   We will be checking in with you in the near future. And don’t forget our benefit concerts 😊   Puget Sound Brass Ensemble will be with us December 10 9 and our Korean family concert will be performing at Trinity on December 10.  We’ll have a full week-end of beautiful music. We are grateful for your support and prayers for our Neighbors.
