You just never know…………
One week you are St Nicholas and a hero to young worshippers. A couple of weeks later you are saving the day for cold and wet Neighbors. David, you are absolutely the best.
Thank you to the team from Edmonds Unitarian Universalist Congregation for hot burritos and very welcome pantry foods. Every month, this team gifts string cheese, tuna, cereals, and oranges to our Neighbors.
Our pantry served 78 Neighbors and 1 family this morning. It was a busy day. Edmonds food bank stopped by with salads and fresh fruit. Our Advocates for Recovery team brought sandwiches, cookies and a variety of artisan breads. Jude brought in donations of breads and bagels from Franz bakery. Our Neighbors were well fed as always.
Last Saturday was “Toy Shop”. This means a large volunteer team who put in evenings of organizing and a full afternoon of hosting parents who need help to play Santa for their children. It took a large and very generous village! Thank you!
