Neighbors in Need (NiN) is thrilled to announce and express our deepest gratitude to the Hazel Miller Foundation for their generous grant to support our ongoing work.
The Hazel Miller Foundation, rooted in the spirit and values of its namesake, has long empowered organizations within Edmonds and South Snohomish County—like ours—to not just survive, but thrive. Their steadfast commitment to education, youth services, poverty alleviation, and community support has created transformative opportunities across our region.
NiN is honored to be among the beneficiaries of this funding. With their support, we will be able to:
- Pantry & Breakfast Supplies – Ensuring families and individuals have reliable access to nutritious food.
- Clothing & Household Essentials – Supporting neighbors with practical needs that restore dignity and stability.
- Gift Cards for Families in Crisis – Providing flexibility for urgent needs, such as groceries or gas.
- Community Events & Back-to-School Support – Covering costs for school supplies and outreach efforts.
This grant is more than financial assistance — it strengthens our ability to meet people where they are, whether that’s a hot meal, a backpack for the new school year, or urgent essentials in a time of crisis.
