Weekly Report October 10, 2026

It was a smaller crowd today.  Early in the month, for sure, but wouldn’t a hot beverage on a cold morning be inviting? 🙁  It was a small morning, yet a companionable morning.  A warm way to start the day.

Many thanks to the team from Edmonds Unitarian Universalist Congregation for hot burritos. The crowd was small, but hungry.

Our Unitarian partners are actually with us every month for the entire month. Not only do they gift our Neighbors with a month’s supply of Tune and chicken packets.  They bring hot and cold cereal packets, cheese sticks and mandarin oranges.  That’s a lot of healthy nutrition.  Thank you.

Jude and I (and probably several others) were struck by this “For Better or For Worse” comic in the Seattle Times.  No doubt most of us are familiar with this truth.
