It was a bitter cold and risky walking/driving morning! (Just to point out the obvious)
Many thanks to Susan for making our entry much safer!
Cathy, Tony, and Dari, our Trinity burrito team, were on hand to prepare hot burritos for our Neighbors. We served 35 Neighbors and 2 families – not only with groceries, but clothing, dry shoes, and lots of gloves and hats.
Prayer requests include:
- Kevin asks us to pray that final approval for an apartment is granted. Also, pray with him for safety on the streets and a financial windfall.
- Kenneth asks for prayer that his current detox will be forever.
- Gary asks for prayers of thanksgiving for feeling so well after his surgery.
- Kelly also asks for prayers of thanks as his medical team progresses in treating his tumor.
Last night’s concert In spite of the cold, we had at least 100 guests at last night’s benefit concert. Puget Sound Brass Ensemble opened our holiday season for us with absolutely beautiful music. Additionally, their audience was generous with cash donations, food, blankets, and toiletries to gift to our Neighbors. A highlight of the evening was the premier of an original musical tribute which the Ensemble commissioned in memory of Norma Aamondt-Nelson. What a tribute to Trinity’s former music director. We are truly gifted by the friendship of the members of the Brass Ensemble. www.pugetbrass.org
We wish you the blessings of shelter
