What a day! Our count was a little higher, but we seemed to be steadily “on the run” Extra thanks to everyone. We handed out 31 grocery bags plus food boxes to a couple of families. Among our regular guests were several new men and women. The needs of the homeless are certainly growing.

TIME TO MOVE INSIDE: Beginning October 15, we will set up tables inside the multi-purpose room. If breakfast teams want to expand their menus to more than burritos, they are welcome to do so. We can safely serve from the kitchen. IT IS STRICTLY UP TO EACH TEAM.
Being inside will allow us to have room for listening tables. We hope to have that important resource available soon.
Prayer request: Kevin counts on us to continue to pray for him for a better home, success in school, safety for his family, and a financial windfall.
Volunteers Needed: We need extra help to distribute grocery bags right away. Lila and Andrew will both be stepping aside for several weeks.
As we can move back inside, we have room for breakfast teams to return and for resources. Are you and/or your church/friendship circle available for occasional participation?
