Weekly Report July 16, 2022

We had 25 Neighbors come for groceries and hot burritos.  Many thanks to the faithful team from Holy Rosary Catholic Church for doing the early morning cooking.

Thank you also to the team from Mercy Watch for being with us.  Each Neighbor who meets with them gets a thorough interview, exam and care of wounds, and, when necessary, a referral to the WSU medical clinic at Providence Hospital.  On this Saturday they brought a blood pressure cuff to a Neighbor who has high blood pressure.  Also they treated an infected wound for another Neighbor and teamed up with Korean Nest to get her respite stay at a local motel.  These examples are just a small part of their care.

Thank you for your generous yarn donations!  Especially to Casey who shared the request in the Edmonds Food Bank newsletter.  We will send a carload of yarn to our partners at the Monroe Reformatory.  Of course, they can always use more 😊

Prayer Requests:

Kevin asks for prayers for all of Lynnwood for peace and safety.  He also asks for prayers for good grades, improvements at home, protection of all children, and a financial windfall.

Enjoy this beautiful summer!

Blessings to all

Joan
