Weekly Report May 21, 2022

We send thanks to the breakfast team from Holy Rosary Catholic for preparing breakfast burritos this morning.  We had a few Neighbors return to ask if they could have second servings. 😊

The sunshine was wonderful this morning, but our team who stood at the open back doors was still very cold.  They handed food bags to 25 Neighbors.  This team deserves very special thanks.

HELP WANTED, PLEASE?  A few of our regular volunteers will be out of town next week to observe Memorial Day.  We could use a little extra help.  If you are free for a couple of hours next Saturday morning, would you please let me know?

Prayer requests:

From Tracie:   “I still have ringing in my ears.  Some days, the noise is a bit less than it was.”

From Kevin:  “Praying for a smooth entrance into Edmonds Construction Management Program.  Pray for clarity of mind, a financial windfall, fresh air, and the safety of children.   Thank you!

Yarn for the prison:  Our partners at the Monroe Reformatory are out of yarn. If you have a stash that you will not be using, they would be grateful to have it.  You can see in the picture that they enjoy multi-color patterns.  Even small amounts of yarn are useful.  I would be happy to pick it up if it is not convenient to drop it off at Trinity.

With sincere thanks to all for your prayers and support for our Neighbors.

Joan
