Our Neighbors were chilled to the bone and eager for hot coffee.
Our Neighbors were grateful to the team from Holy Rosary Catholic Church for hot burritos and especially for hot chocolate, apple juice and fresh grapes which they served as a special Thanksgiving treat. Plus! They placed hand drawn Thanksgiving greeting cards on every table. The cards were created by students at the Holy Rosary Catholic School. Each card was beautiful in thought as well as illustration. Some samples……..
Our pantry served 72 Neighbors and 5 families this morning. This is a new high.
Thank you!!! Thank you to everyone who responded to our plea for clothing and shoes donations. You have been truly generous. Our need continues as our numbers grow and as winter takes hold.
Christmas Party: We will be filling Christmas gift bags for our Neighbors. Additional gift items that we need are gloves, hand warmers, nail clippers, snack size chips, and individually packaged candies. Can you help?
Christmas concerts: Don’t forget!! Mukilteo Christmas Concert to benefit our Neighbors will be December 10th at 4:30 PM. Join us at Trinity for a late afternoon of traditional Christmas.
Puget Sound Brass Ensemble will perform to benefit Neighbors in Need on Saturday December 9 at 7:00 PM. They will offer a variety of music including a specially commissioned selection to honor the memory of Norma Aamott Nelson.
Prayer request:
Kevin asks us to continue to pray with him for a breakthrough in his relationship with his neighbors. Also please pray for safety in traffic, safety for his children and for musical knowledge.
