It was a day for maximum nutrition. Tom, a many years friend of Neighbors in Need donates fresh-from-his-garden vegetables each week. The photos show a portion of today’s gifts. These, plus lettuce, tomatoes and herbs from Trinity’s community garden made it a “gourmet day”.
Many thanks to Tom and to the Trinity Garden team.
The day was so calm (well, one dog did bark) that it seemed like there were very few Neighbors with us. That being written, our pantry gave out more than 70 food bags. Clearly, we had our usual crowd size. Many thanks to our pantry team for their gracious customer service. They memorize the preferences of our regulars and make sure that new Neighbors have everything they need.
