Welcome! Welcome! Welcome to members of St Philopater & St Demiana Coptic Orthodox Church of Lynwood, who joined us this morning to prepare burrito breakfast for our largest guest count since the pre-COVID days. It is a gift to get to know you. Please hurry back!
It was a “numbers” kind of day. Our Neighbors arrived hungry and eager for coffee. Franz Bakery had given Jude a generous supply of pastries, and Advocates for Recovery brought a huge supply of Oreo cookies. They were consumed in a flash.
Our pantry served 91 Neighbors, 3 families, and 6 pets. Edmonds Food Bank, as always, delivered fresh fruit and salads. Advocates For Recovery donated a double quantity of hoagie sandwiches. All of these gifts were claimed by the end of our morning.
YARN REQUEST: Our partners at the Washington State Reformatory in Monroe are out of yarn. As you know, they knit hats and scarves for our Neighbors. They use any quantity of any weight of yarn to make these garments. If you have yarn that you no longer need, please let me know. We will happily pick it up – contact us!
