It was all about the numbers this morning.  Our pantry served at least 95 Neighbors!  It was so busy everywhere that it wasn’t appropriate to ask for updates.  I noticed two families receiving food boxes.   Apparently, our pet hospitality is becoming well-known in the canine community.  We had 7 dogs at various times throughout the

It was a bit of an unusual day at Neighbors in Need this morning.  Volunteers agreed that nearly half of our Neighbor guests had never attended before.  Our pantry welcomed, of course, each newcomer and asked how they found us.  Most said that they heard about Neighbors in Need at the cold weather shelter.  We’re

It was dental van day on a very cold morning.  Two dental teams cared for patients.  They served a total of 16 Neighbors who needed such care as extractions, cavities filled, and or pain explored.  Sixteen people are much healthier this afternoon than they were early this morning.  Thank you to Susan and to the

It was an average (?) day.  Our Neighbors were happy to be inside where they could comfortably visit while enjoying hot coffee or chocolate.  Our pantry assembled and gave 71 grocery bags, 1 family box, and food bags to three canine companions.
