Our food pantry gave bags of food to 56 Neighbors today and to 4 families. Once again, they noticed that they were serving Neighbors who are new and typically passing through Lynnwood. It seemed like a smooth morning, but the increased need for help to serve is stunning.  Praise be to God for the generosity

Where was everyone??  Actually, we served 35 Neighbors this morning but it seemed quiet and slow-paced.  Jude noticed that there were 6 Neighbors who were totally new to her.  We also had 3 Neighbors return from pre-covid days.  Time in a shelter is running out and there is still inadequate available housing. We were really and truly blessed to have the Mobile Dental Clinic with us this morning.  They served 9 of our Neighbors today for no cost dental care.  That’s a very busy 6 hours in any dental office.  In their outfitted van, they did extractions, fillings, and needs assessment exams.  For our Neighbors who need

We had for-real breakfast this morning!!   Thank you to a large team of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church members who prepared and stayed to serve biscuits and gravy in addition to burritos.  Our Neighbors were served breakfast on honest-to-goodness plates and apple juice in real glassware.  It was like the “good ole” pre-pandemic days.  Thank you
