Welcome back to the team from Holy Rosary!!  They took.  We a very short summer break.  We missed you!  They always bring a special treat to accompany the burritos.  Thanks so much for the fresh fruit and fruit juice. It was a day of abundance / abundant harvest and abundant blessing. Thank you to the team from Edmonds Universalist Unitarian Church for preparing burritos!  They prepared and served more than 100 burritos this morning.  Thank you also for your monthly donation of cereals, cheese sticks, mandarins and beverages.  That is a lot of critical

The first Saturday of a new month means that the Trinity burrito team prepared breakfast.  We had our usual large crowd this morning!  Every burrito was taken.  Thanks for your early morning cooking!  And, indeed, it was a large crowd this morning.  We noticed at one time that the chairs at every table were full. 

Our Neighbors were the guests of Korean Nest Mission this morning. Word at the breakfast tables was that the pancakes were especially delicious.  Thank you to Korean Nest for those pancakes plus sausage, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, and fruit juice. Thank you, also for your company!  It was truly fun to have you with us. 

It was a perfect morning for hot biscuits & gravy, sausages, and fruit juice.  The team from Gloria Dei spent the entire morning with us to prepare and serve breakfast plus take-out burritos.  Our Neighbors were sure glad to see hot food. And additional gratitude to the Gloria Dei congregation for holding a clothing drive. 

This was a fun and truly significant day of learning for our Neighbors in Need family. Eight of our “every Saturday” volunteers were away and doing the fun stuff that we should all be doing during the summer.  The rest of us stepped into new roles and performed like experts.  It was a great morning. Our Neighbors are eager to come inside for coffee even though it is a gentle summer day.  They earned their coffee this morning.  Our multi-purpose room setup team was 100% Neighbors.  Thank you to Dwight for your leadership. Special thanks to the pantry team for your setup and customer service.  They served 76 Neighbors. Edmonds

It was a day for maximum nutrition.  Tom, a many years friend of Neighbors in Need donates fresh-from-his-garden vegetables each week.  The photos show a portion of today’s gifts.  These, plus lettuce, tomatoes and herbs from Trinity’s community garden made it a “gourmet day”.
