Sincere thanks to members of St Philopateer St Demiana Coptic Orthodox Church for being our cooks this morning!  Also, for helping out in several additional places during the morning.  Youth and adults alike are willing and generous servants. The word must have gotten out that there would be a “full meal deal” breakfast today.  Our team from Northwest Church served scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes with “all you can pour” syrup, and fruit juice as well as breakfast burritos.  They served well over 150 plates. It was a morning for flexibility.  Several regular volunteers were away to enjoy the holiday weekend.  Volunteers did double duty and mentored others (including a few Neighbors) to serve in new areas.  As always, it was a welcoming, family-like day. It was truly a joy to have team St. Philopateer St Demiana with us this morning.  Not only did they prepare and serve breakfast but also served in the clothing bank and pantry as well as being caring listeners among our Neighbors.  As the photo shows, they brought the cutest burrito server Neighbors in Need

Breakfast burritos were created by an “all-star” team this morning.  Pemco and Trinity breakfast volunteers joined forces.  It was a lot of fun  NiN was subdued and fast this morning.  The count is always a bit less on the first weekend of the month.  Early and beautiful sunshine was also a probable factor.  Our Neighbors
