Another record!  Our pantry served 80 Neighbors on Saturday.  We acknowledge two unfortunate truths.  Many of our Neighbors are old friends whom we have served for too many years.  Second sad truth / we continue to see new faces every single Saturday.   Our numbers make us sad, but your generosity gives us physical and spiritual

It’s likely that every person who volunteered at Neighbors in Need this morning went straight to their homes to take naps.  It wasn’t a problem morning but it sure was a high activity morning with at least one third of our guests being first time Neighbors. We had a very long line of hungry people who were eager for a hot breakfast.  Thank you to Gloria Dei Lutheran for biscuits and gravy, sausages, fruit juices, burritos and warm greetings.  They served 120 plates this morning.  The numbers continue to grow as we welcome new Neighbors each week.
