A hot cup of coffee and breakfast were welcome on a sunny and very warm morning.  Thanks to the Trinity breakfast team!  They served eggs, sausages and hash browns along with burritos.  We had rookies on our team this morning. They are now skilled burrito folders.   Our pantry served 72 Neighbors this morning, offering, as always,

Northwest Church to the rescue!!  On a more than ever busy day, the team from Northwest Church in Lynnwood were hard at work.  Not only did they prepare and serve burritos, they helped with setup, coffee serving, grocery bagging, pantry service, clothing distribution and sorting, one on one visiting with Neighbors, and, finally, cleanup.  We are truly

Welcome to June!!  The morning seemed like a fifth Saturday.  Our Neighbors will not see their June benefits for a few days yet.  They were grateful for breakfast and groceries.  The pantry served 77 Neighbors and one family. Thank you to Cathy, Dary, Marcella and the rest of the Trinity breakfast  volunteers for preparing burritos

Another record!  Our pantry served 80 Neighbors on Saturday.  We acknowledge two unfortunate truths.  Many of our Neighbors are old friends whom we have served for too many years.  Second sad truth / we continue to see new faces every single Saturday.   Our numbers make us sad, but your generosity gives us physical and spiritual

It’s likely that every person who volunteered at Neighbors in Need this morning went straight to their homes to take naps.  It wasn’t a problem morning but it sure was a high activity morning with at least one third of our guests being first time Neighbors.
