It was an early full house this morning.  We were grateful to be available on a rainy “summer” morning.  One Neighbor shared with us the challenges of keeping even tightly packaged foods in your home when your home is a tent in the woods or behind a business.  Rodents are not shy.  With that description

It seemed like a quiet day this morning.  The clothing bank was busy on a very chilly morning.  Other than that, our Neighbors seemed happy to drink hot coffee or hot chocolate while they listened to Bill’s music.  He sure adds ambiance to each morning that he is with us.  Bonus treat was a selection

The word must have gotten out that there would be a “full meal deal” breakfast today.  Our team from Northwest Church served scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes with “all you can pour” syrup, and fruit juice as well as breakfast burritos.  They served well over 150 plates. It was a morning for flexibility.  Several regular volunteers were away to enjoy the holiday weekend.  Volunteers did double duty and mentored others (including a few Neighbors) to serve in new areas.  As always, it was a welcoming, family-like day. Gloria Dei Lutheran Church was with us to prepare a truly wholesome breakfast.  Our Neighbors enjoyed
