We enjoyed a smooth-paced, yet busy Saturday morning.  Once again, we were introduced to new Neighbors.  Our Trinity burrito brigade and hostess team served 27 total. The second Saturday means that Mercy Watch is with us.  Our Neighbors count on the nurses not only for new wound care and possible illnesses but also for health

As it is the first Saturday of the month, we expected a quiet day, but it was BUSY! We handed grocery bags to 25 Neighbors plus 3 families.  Several in this larger count were new to us.  They are so welcome, yet we regret that numbers need to grow. Thank you to Edmonds Unitarian Universalist

It’s a new month and, as expected, fewer Neighbors needed our offerings.  We had 20 come for foods and for breakfast burritos. At least 5 of those 20 were new guests to Neighbors in Need. It was another very busy morning.  Once again, we broke 40 total Neighbors coming for groceries and burritos. Asher served as Public Relations this morning. What a sweet guy!  It was a special blessing to have him with us this morning.  We had three new families come for help.  Asher was a constant companion for the children, giving the adults a chance to ask about resources. The word of the day was ADAPT   Honored quests at Trinity were the delegates to the Northwest Washington Lutheran Synod Assembly. It was fun to have a crowd in the building and to see attendees greet volunteers and Neighbors as if we are all old friends. We moved the grocery handout to the preschool hallway.
