Saturday Morning Weekly Report

“She SAW me!”  That was the comment from a young woman who is a first time Neighbor.  She was among the first to go through the line to receive groceries and a salad.  Jude’s sincere welcome went straight to her heart. We were a skeleton crew this morning.  Sincere thanks to everyone, including several Neighbors,

You just shoulda’ been with us today!  It was a celebration of so many good things.  Our clothing bank team were looking “ready for naps” as they left, but we know they will be back to fashion consult next Saturday.  Honest!  They perform as sincere “clothing needs consultants” for our Neighbors. Monday is John’s visit to the Edmonds Food for stable foods to give to our Neighbors.  We wouldn’t be open if

It was a busy but truly fun morning.  We are grateful to the youth and their adult leaders from St Hilda St Patrick Episcopal Church for spending the morning with us.  They had sponsored a blanket drive in their home congregation and delivered more than 40 blankets to give to our Neighbors.  They spent the

Our Neighbors arrived early and stayed as long as possible.  They were truly grateful to be out of the pouring rain.  They put themselves to work while they waited for the coffee to brew.  With Allen’s direction, they set up all the tables and chairs plus all of the serving tables.   Gloria Dei Lutheran was
