On such a beautiful spring morning, we served 36 Neighbors and 1 family.  Five of the Neighbors who visited us were completely new to our service.  Thank you to the food pantry team for making them welcome. We were really and truly blessed to have the Mobile Dental Clinic with us this morning.  They served 9 of our Neighbors today for no cost dental care.  That’s a very busy 6 hours in any dental office.  In their outfitted van, they did extractions, fillings, and needs assessment exams.  For our Neighbors who need

We had for-real breakfast this morning!!   Thank you to a large team of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church members who prepared and stayed to serve biscuits and gravy in addition to burritos.  Our Neighbors were served breakfast on honest-to-goodness plates and apple juice in real glassware.  It was like the “good ole” pre-pandemic days.  Thank you

It was an honor to host Point In Time Count volunteers this morning.  They gave their Saturday morning to introduce themselves to our Neighbors and add to their total count.  The number of homeless counted and details about their needs dictate funding for shelter and services.  This volunteer work is a  definite step toward resolving
