The first Saturday of the month and still a very busy morning.  Our pantry gave food bags to 55 Neighbors and boxes to two families.  We estimated 10 more Neighbors who came for coffee and community. And yet again, growing numbers…………… Our pantry gave out 63 grocery bags this morning plus 4 family boxes.  It was a truly busy morning.  This number does not include the dozen or so who come for coffee, resources, and neighborly community. Our volunteer team agreed that close to half of our guests were first-time visitors

We had early guests on this dark and very wet morning.  We invited them inside even though the coffee was not yet ready.  The early arrivals took it upon themselves to do the setup.  Allen helped with placement directions and they took charge of all the heavy lifting.  We truly are a Neighborhood.
